Hello. I am Stacy (Wayland) Rice and I teach 10th grade English - both pre-AP and regular,
and Journalism 1, 2, and 3.
Textbooks: WRHS students use EMC Mirrors & Windows, 10th grade is Level V.
Pre-AP uses Bedford St. Martin's The Language of Composition
Students enrolled in Journalism publish The Cat's Dispatch, a monthly newspaper
that (usually) publishes the third Wednesday of each month.
The Cat's Dispatch is available free of charge on the WRHS campus and as an insert in
The Times Dispatch during the third week of each month.
The Cat's Dispatch is now available online by clicking the link provided on my webpage,
the Journalism page or The Cat's Dispatch page.
