Students wanting to sign up for breakfast need to see Mrs. Milton or Sarah before 8:00. You must sign up each day that you want breakfast.

SEVERAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE THIS WEEK. IF THE APP HAS A MAILING OR SUBMISSION DEADLINE OF MARCH 31 OR APRIL 1, IT SHOULD BE TURNED IN TO THE COUNSELOR BY NOON ON THURSDAY, MARCH 30. YOU SHOULD HAVE ALL SIGNATURES (except counselor) AND ALL DOCUMENTS ATTACHED WITH A PAPER CLIP. PLACE EACH INDIVIDUAL APPLICATION IN THE CORRECT TRAY IN THE COUNSELOR’S OFFICE. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING (like a transcript) ATTACHED TO THE APPLICATION FROM THE COUNSELOR, PLACE A POST-IT NOTE ON TOP OF THAT APPLICATION BEFORE PLACING IT IN THE TRAY, INDICATING WHAT IS NEEDED. PLEASE NOTE: THE LOCAL WALNUT RIDGE SCHOLARSHIP APP MAY BE TURNED IN BY THE END OF THE DAY ON MONDAY, APRIL 3.
DURING HOMEROOM ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 29, all 9th and 10th graders WILL REPORT TO THEIR ASPIRE TESTING ROOMS FOR AN ASPIRE MOCK TEST. STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE LAPTOPS, FULLY CHARGED. ENGLISH TEACHERS HAVE ROOM ASSIGNMENTS AND THEY ARE POSTED IN ENGLISH CLASSROOMS. JUNIORS AND SENIORS WILL REPORT TO THE OLD GYM FOR HOMEROOM.
Seniors in National Honor Society may come by and purchase your graduation stole, cords and tassels in Mrs. Linda’s room no later than April 21st. A limited number of these are available for loan if you prefer.
Give the Gift of Life. Key Club is teaming up with the American Red Cross Thursday, April 6th, for a Blood Drive from 9:00 – 2:30 in the High School Library. You can sign-up in Mr. Haynes' Room between classes. You must be at least 16 years old.
Crown Club applications are available for girls in grade 9 -12 next school year. Must have a minimum 2.75 GPA and reside inLawrence County. Applications must be mailed to be recieved by the April 15th deadline.
The Junior/Senior prom will be Saturday April 22, 2023 at The Studio on Main street. This years theme is "Putting On The Ritz." The Senior walk will begin at 6:30, followed by Prom at 7:00. You must sign up with Mrs. Milton by April 20th and the cost is $20 per person.
“All 9th graders will travel to the NEA Career and Technical Center in Jonesboro on Monday, April 3rd. We will load the buses at 8:45 and return before noon. See Mrs. Tyler for more details”
